Double Tax Agreements

Cyprus is known for its wide network of double tax treaties reaching over 50 countries around the globe. Hence tax planning can be realy effective and meaningful in conjuction with the low tax rates provided by the local tax regime.

 

Cyprus has concluded treaties with the majority of the European Countries as well as with the United States of America, India, Russia, Canada, China, UAE and Ukraine. It is expected that this network will soon expand further as several other new treaties are under negotiation.

 

The increasing evolution of the extended network of double tax treaties is one of the fundamental reasons that makes Cyprus an appealing financial center.
